Wind turbine generators
In many wind turbine generators (WTG) for example, the modular control XC-100-FC with its fibre-optic fieldbus interface, controls the collision avoidance and signalling beacons, and monitors the emergency power supply systems. Contactors with vacuum technology and circuit-breakers reliably switch the wind turbine generators on the grid.

Biogas plants
The compact control easyControl provides all operating data for process visualisation in biogas plants. Circuit-breakers NZM protect combined (cogeneration) heat and power plants (CHP) against overloads and short circuits. Motor starters controlled via SmartWire-Darwin drastically reduce both the wiring and mounting effort.

Photovoltaic systems
A wide range of DC switchgear for applications up to 1 kV is available for photovoltaic systems or standby battery applications. Eaton is offering perfect product solutions from DC fuse switch-disconnectors, DC switch-disconnectors and DC circuit-breakers with IP20 protection or enclosed with IP65 protection, as well as DC compact circuit-breakers up to 1400 A.
