SWD Gateway

The interface to the higher level PLC is implemented via the SWD Gateway. This assures the exchange of data between the SWD devices and the control via the fieldbus (CANopen, PROFIBUS DP).

Thus, the connection to commonly used PLC systems is possible.

SWD Busrefresh module

The supply voltage of the SWD devices is provided via the flat cable of the gateway and is sufficient for about 30 devices. An additional Busrefresh module can supply other devices with energy.

SWD Powerfeed module

The gateway supplies connected contactor coils with up to 3 A of current (sufficient for up to 16 contactors). Further contactors can be supplied with power on the SmartWire Darwin using a Powerfeed module.
Furthermore, separate supply and Emergency-Stop circuits can be implemented.
