xSpider

xSpider is a calculation tool used for dimensioning and optimalisation of low-voltage networks. This program is available free of charge after simple registration and requests only the Windows operational system.

xSpider offers all needed calculations and information about networks, eg.:

  • voltage drops,
  • load flow calculations,
  • disconnecting time of protection devices,
  • short-circuit current calculations,
    etc.

Easy work with guaranteed results

Intuitive and user-friendly operation offers excellent options for editing of network diagrams and their modifications. New users can start own work with use of the e-learning video or to follow the presentation where is described an operartion with xSpider. Easy creation of drawings or use of pre-defined typical network combinations (DEMO) allows to start with calculation during very short time. Clear tree structure of components database allows quick setting of its parameters and make easy all editing works.

xSpider compare suitability of cables and protection devices. Selection of type can be done step by step by user or with use of autodimensioning functions. Program significantly reduce working time and minimalize many faults during planning process. It is possible to simulate various operating states of the network by disconnecton of power sources and loads. Definition of simultaneous and utilization factors respects real conditions.

Export of results

Parameters and calculated results are displayed in the drawing and can be exported in normally used formats or also directly printed. All calculations are based on the IEC standards which guarantee correct results of calculations.

Tripping characteristics, selectivity and back-up protection

Work with tripping characteristics allows a selection of components and their comparison. Results can be also compared with really tested combinations of devices between.
