In the field of electro-mechanical and electronic protective switching devices, Moeller always has been, and still is today among the pioneers. Xtremely safe
New termination aids (terminal guides) make it impossible for miniature circuit-breakers or combination MCB+RCDs (RCBO) to be wrongly connected; special terminal markings also help ensure reliable fitting. MCBs and RCBOs can be sealed in the On or the Off position. The current rating is clearly recognizable by the colour-coded toggles (dollies). Also clearly visible is the large contact position indication. What is more, degree of ingress protection IP20 ensures even greater safety against accidental contact.

MCBs and RCBOs can be fitted and removed without any unscrewing or the removal of the busbar system for the complete switch assembly. This was made possible by the new three-position latching slide (DIN rail clip). The mounting height is still 80 mm, allowing plenty of wiring space, and the equally snap-fitted accessories, as well as busbar positioning on either side are significant features that make mounting the devices extremely easy. All the new generation devices are upward compatible, i.e. can be combined with the modules of the previous range. As far as packaging is concerned, great importance attached to the information printed on it (it is now multi-lingual) and the availability also of smaller packing units.
The new generation of modules fits seamlessly into the mutually optimally compatible range of products necessary for a safe and fitter-friendly electrical installation. This applies from the standard RCD up to selectively-operating and short-time delayed types, via the multi-stage overvoltage protective concept, which goes to provide effective protection even for highly sensitive electronic equipment. Together with the existing range of modular rail-mounted devices, a complete system of protective switches, push-buttons, timed control devices, wiring aids, etc., is now available from a single supplier – Moeller!
