Optimised Heating and Ventilation

In functional buildings, EIB building control systems offer a variety of opportunities for optimising heating power consumption.

Since the various control functions for the building are capable of communicating with each other, it is possible, for example, for heating power to be put to optimum use. Motion detectors permit selective heating of specific rooms only. If no movement is detected in a room for a pre-defined period of time the radiator actuating drive will immediately reduce heat supply.

Home Manager prepares temperature status records with accurate timing. They can be evaluated on the PC for the purpose of system optimisation.
