EIB-Devices for Heating Control
The actuator
The 24 V DC actuator is used in order to implement continuous heating control. The electromotive, proportional motor actuator is installed on the heating element valve for this purpose and actuated via the EIB.
The 24 V DC motor actuator is equipped with a connection cable. This connection serves simultaneously as the connection to the EIB as well as the power supply in order to actuate the heating element valve.
The temperature input
Four differing temperatures can be transmitted to the EIB and information can be exchanged with other EIB devices, or switch functions can be initiated, using the 4-way temperature input in combination with the
Moeller temperature sensors.

Every temperature input can be defined with two threshold values with hysterysis for switching functions. Additionally, the setpoint values for the level on the bus can be assigned. The sensor can be monitored on each temperature input for short-circuit, open-circuit or a sensor malfunction.
The accessories
Suitable accessories for the heating control such as an enclosure for external installation, enclosure for domestic installation and a conduit installation unit are available.
