H-Max™ Frequency Inverters
Cool Head and Warm Feet Thanks to H-Max™

H-Max™ frequency inverters from Eaton Moeller are suitable for universal use. Thanks to their special features they are ideally suitable for use in HVAC applications. As well as a configurator (Wizard) for the two PID controllers and an internal function block that carries out the on and off switching of uncontrolled motors, the devices also feature for example a function that defines its response to a fire. The behaviour of H-Max™ after a power failure can also be configured by the user. Whether a start command is required on restart or whether the drive is to automatically start up can be defined by the user. The typical network protocols used in the air conditioning sector, such as BACNet and Modbus, are provided on board both via RS484 and also as its Ethernet variant. Option cards are available for implementing connections to other fieldbusses. Internal category C2 RFI filters in compliance with EN 61800-3 come as standard device features, as well as an internal DC link choke. The ground connection of the filters can be disconnected so that operation on ungrounded networks is also possible. The following mains connections are available: 3 x 200…240 V (motor ratings 0.55…90 kW) and 3 x 380…480 V (motor ratings 1.1…160 kW). The devices are available either with IP21 or IP54 protection. Frequency inverters of the H-Max™ series offer protection against phase loss, overvoltage/ undervoltage, overcurrent, high/low temperature, short-circuit/ground fault and motor overload (I²t and thermistor). All devices of the H-Max™ series have the following inputs/outputs: 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 6 digital inputs (configurable for positive and negative logic) and 3 relay outputs. H-Max™ frequency inverters come with CE, UL, cUL and cTick approvals.
