Small and Compact - DILM570 for 315kW.

Compared to the previous well-established DILM580 contactor, the DILM570 offers an inexpensive alternative for common switching requirements up to 315kW / 400V / AC-3. The DILM570 combines a high performance with compact dimensions at a low cost. Compared to the DILM580, Moeller's compact DILM570 has reduced the mounting width by 36 percent. This saves valuable space in the switching cabinet. With an electrical lifespan of 750000 operations, the DILM570 contactor is the first choice for most applications.

The DILM570 is designed for use in AC-1 and AC-3 applications. Typical applications include the switching of drives for mining machines, fans, breakers for material recycling and drives for bow thrusters on ships. Further applications include contactors for mains switching or induction welding equipment. The DILM570 contactor is available in control voltages of 110-120V 50/60Hz and 220-240V 50/60Hz.

Finger Safety with DILM Contactors.

For contactor applications requiring a higher protection class, Moeller is now offering the IP2X protective cover DILM32-XIP2X for its DILM17, DILM25, DILM32 and DILM38 contactors. This cover enables the finger-safe mounting of contactors to EN 60529. It completes the range of IP2X contactor covers, so that Moeller can provide an IP2X solution for the entire contactor series up to 170A.

The cover sets are simply clipped onto the main terminals by the user in the normal manner. The DILM32-XIP2X cover set is so adaptable that the connection of 0.75mm² to 16mm² cable cross sections, and the compatibility is retained to existing Moeller components, such as direct connectors, star-point bridges, and reversing starter wiring kits and the ZB32 overload relay.
