IP65 Multi-Function Display: Inexpensive CANopen Interface.

Simple visualization tasks on CANopen can now be implemented inexpensively with the new CP4-CAN interface module. The device features an automatic baud rate detection function. The station address can be set conveniently via the display. In combination with the MFD80 display, 4 lines of 16 characters each can be used. The EC4P and XC100/200 controllers are controlled with ready-to-use function block libraries for the easySoft-CoDeSys programming system. These contain different character sizes (single, two and four line) and attributes, enabling several display screens to be managed. The user can communicate interactively via the display buttons, for example for entering parameters or acknowledging messages.

EC4 Compact Controllers: Two CANopen I/O Modules.

Remote expansions of EC4 compact controllers can be implemented easily with the two EC4E-221-6T4R1 and EC4E-221-6T4T1 CAN modules. These modules provide 6 inputs and 4 outputs (0.5A transistor, short-circuit-proof, or 8A relay). The CAN modules can also be expanded with an expansion module from the easyRelay range. In this way, combinations of up to 18 digital inputs and 12 outputs can be created. With these devices the baud rate is detected automatically, and the node address is set by means of DIP switches.
