Eaton MFD-Titan Multi-Function Display with Bluetooth Communication
Eaton will be presenting the MFD-Titan multi-function display with Bluetooth communication. A Bluetooth adapter enables machines and plants to be commissioned and maintained remotely. Users can therefore now also communicate with the controller outside of noisy and dangerous areas. Distances of ten meters between the notebook and MFD-Titan can be bridged with a Bluetooth adapter in normal industrial environments.

Perfect Soft Starting in the System: DS7-SWD Communication-Enabled Soft Starters
Eaton is launching the new communication-enabled DS7-SWD soft starters. Eaton's DS7 soft starter series covers the rating range from 1.5 to 100kW/400V. The series now includes soft starters with an integrated SmartWire-DT communication interface. Soft starters are increasingly being used to implement star-delta starter solutions. This applies to replacements as well as new installations. They are particularly suitable for applications such as pumps, fans and conveyor belts – applications for which finance and space are limited.

Eaton’ Electrical Sector is offering a new ZEB series for 175A. Eaton is adding the new 175A series to its range of ZEB electronic overload relays. Like the previous devices of the ZEB series, the 175A devices ensure motor protection for different starting characteristics such as CLASS 10A, 10, 20 and 30. Together with the electronic wide-range overload protection with a 5:1 ratio, the new series covers several standard bimetal relays. The type ZEB…-GF electronic overload relays come with additional integrated protection from ground fault currents and can therefore be used as external summation current transformers without any additional accessories. Open and closed-loop control, display and operation in a compact format: Eaton has added two new CPU modules with a 24 V DC power supply to its MFD-Titan range. Unlike PKZM4 motorprotective circuit-breakers, the PKZM4-..-CB circuit breakers are provided with large creepage and clearance distances at the incoming and outgoing main current terminals. The new device height is therefore 165 mm. These changes and extensive testing have made it possible for the switches to be approved as fully-fledged circuit-breakers to UL 489 / CSA C22.2-5.09.
